Chevrolet LRDG. From Cairo to Bengasi, round trip raid

Long range desert group LRDG whipped Afrikakorps penetrating depthly in frontline, sabotaged equipments, rescue lost pilots and compilated information about troops movements. All of these secrecy and driving in each raid thousands of kilometres in total solitude.
Each patrol carry in the chevrolet truck all necesary for survive and fight. To avoid to be identified and attacked by enemy planes, the trucks drove dispersed by different ways. For communicate between trucks they used flag signs because radio could inform on its presence.

Cada patrulla llevaba en su camion chevrolet todo lo necesario para sobrevivir y luchar sin ayuda de nadie. Para evitar ser identificados y atacados por aviones, los camiones del LRDG circulaban dispersos y por caminos distintos. Para comunicarse entre ellos usaban señales con banderas porque el uso de la radio podia delatar su presencia.
